The Opportunity
Join a leading engineering and maintenance provider supporting industries like oil & gas, nuclear, pharma, energy, and food & beverage. You'll help enhance asset efficiency, safety, and compliance—backed by a skilled team operating from key industrial hubs.
Salary: £65k–£70k (DOE)
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Lead mechanical and piping engineering across full project lifecycles.
Ensure designs are on time, within scope and budget.
Maintain compliance with all key industry standards and regulations.
Oversee QA of all design outputs and lead/attend design reviews.
Collaborate across Civil, Structural, EC&I, and Process teams.
Provide expert technical guidance and independent decisions.You will have the following qualifications and experience
BEng/MEng in Mechanical Engineering (Chartered preferred).
5+ years as a Lead/Senior/Principal Engineer.
Strong background in piping design (ASME, BS EN, PED, PESR).
Familiar with tools like AutoCAD, Plant3D, Caesar II, E3D.
Excellent planning, communication, and leadership skills.
