ROXEL (UK ROCKET MOTORS) LIMITED
Roxel is an Anglo-French Company that designs, develops and manufactures a range of solid propellant Rocket Motors for use in tactical missiles. Its operations are spread across several sites in the UK and France and it has an annual turnover of about £200M and nearly 1000 staff. The UK operations are entirely based at Summerfield, Kidderminster.
This vacancy is for a position within the Engineering Design team which performs modelling, simulation and analysis of Rocket Motor designs throughout the product lifecycle.
OVERVIEW & SCOPE OF ROLE
The successful candidate will be the performance technical authority for several Rocket Motor products. Specific areas of work will initially include internal ballistics which is used to predict, verify and analyse the performance of Rocket Motors. There is potential to expand into other areas of numerical simulation such as computational fluid dynamics, thermal and stress analysis of Rocket Motor propellant charges and structures.
