We are looking to offer a Locum Consultant Post for a 6 month fixed term contract with a special interest in Glaucoma for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust to complement the current Glaucoma service provision.

Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in Glaucoma for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust to complement the current Glaucoma service provision.
The successful candidate would also be expected to contribute to acute ophthalmology and general ophthalmology and would have on-call commitments.
As part of our commitment to provide the best care to our patients, we are extending our Ophthalmology service to include some consultant led evening and weekend work. This will be mutually agreed as part of the job plan and the number of PAs adjusted accordingly.
The department has a heavy teaching and training commitment towards medical students, specialist trainees, nurses and other visiting doctors. The appointee will be expected to contribute to this educational activity from time to time.
