Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – 18 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Fleetwood, Lancashire. Salary: £45,559.25. Shift pattern: Initially days (8am–4pm), transitioning to a rotating 3‑shift pattern. Sector: Food manufacturing.
This role offers an initial 18‑month fixed‑term contract with a strong likelihood of extension up to three years and a potential for permanent employment as the company expands. Working within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, the engineer will deliver safe, reliable, and efficient production through a proactive reliability‑led maintenance strategy.

* Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and packaging operations
Non‑Negotiable Requirements
* Multi‑skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
* Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
Desirable Requirements
* Experience within Food, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or GMP‑regulated environments
* Experience supporting continuous improvement projects
* PLC fault‑finding experience

Shift Pattern
Initially works Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm before moving onto a rotating 3‑shift pattern:Week1: 6am–2pm
Week2: 8am–4pm (or 7am–3pm depending on business requirements)
Week3: 2pm–10pm
