Archive House is a new YouTube agency working with celebrities & creators in long-form content. We work with the best of the best creators & podcast hosts in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle & wellness delivering a strategic, end-to-end approach to content on YouTube.
Were an early-stage business by design. Small, agile, and fast paced. That means that we get stuck in, work together and be reactive.
Role Description
Were looking for an in-house editor to work across a variety of YouTube channels, editing for podcasts and long form content through a social first lens.
Were in a new age of content whereby long form is meeting social and therefore were looking for someone who can create original content through their edit style.
What Youll Be Doing
* Editing a variety of podcast, long form & short form social first videos.
* Transform raw footage into engaging, narrative-driven long-form videos
* End-to-end editing including pacing, music, sound design, and narrative structure
* Adapt instantly to changing schedules, locations, and priorities
* Identify moments, stories, and angles that will resonate with a YouTube audience
* Have fun! Were creating content and we want to enjoy doing it.
This is a full time role, based in Manchester. No freelance applications will be accepted.
The Profile
* Strong experience in social and/or YouTube editing
* Exceptional storytelling instincts and editorial judgment
* Bring your creative flair, we want you to own your own projects and have creative autonomy
* Deep understanding of what makes engaging long-form YouTube content
* Be relentlessly passionate about content
