We specialise in all aspects of process engineering, within the water industry, including waste-water and bioresources treatment, both in the UK and internationally, with opportunities in other sectors such as nuclear. Your Purpose
* Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
* Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
* Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
Minimum Requirements
* Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).
* Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
* Fundamental understanding and experience of integrated waste-water and bioresources treatment process.
* Design and/or operational experience of main process unit operations: primary/secondary/tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment and disposal, odour and energy management.
* Experience of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), capital and operational costs assessments, whole life carbon assessments as well as knowledge of UK environmental regulations.
* Awareness of process modelling techniques and software, e.g. BioWIn, SUMO.
