Role Description
This is a full-time, Hybrid Sales Account Manager role based in Doncaster. The Sales Account Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of trade accounts, building strong relationships with new and existing customers in commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound sales calls, preparing quotes, processing orders, and proactively identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services. The role involves generating and following up on leads, visiting customers on-site when required, and collaborating with branch colleagues to ensure product availability, timely delivery, and high levels of customer satisfaction. The Sales Account Manager will also monitor account performance, resolve issues promptly, maintain accurate CRM records, and contribute to local sales initiatives and promotions.
Qualifications
* Proven ability in Account Management, with experience building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
* Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on responsive, solution-oriented support.
* Demonstrated Lead Generation and prospecting skills, including identifying new opportunities and following up effectively.
* Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage confidently with trade customers and internal teams.
* Previous experience in electrical wholesale, trade supply, or a related B2B sales environment is highly beneficial.
* Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple accounts and deadlines.
* Comfortable working with sales and inventory systems, CRM tools, and basic MS Office applications.
