Job Description

Based in London and reporting to the SVP of Marketing & Publicity, the UPCG Publicity team is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and project management of integrated publicity campaigns across all UPCG and select Focus Features releases globally across the entire lifecycle of the release – from pre-production through to production, theatrical, home entertainment, TV/SVOD and beyond. The team ensures campaigns meet strategic objectives and support business priorities, collaborating with internal and external teams to provide strategic publicity input alongside broader marketing strategy to execute holistic campaigns globally. The Global Publicity team works on a global level and with local publicity teams to understand specific local market strategies, concerns, and nuances.

Duties

* Support the Publicist and Publicity Director in strategic planning and implementation of publicity campaigns, including day-to-day management of PR agencies and territory liaison.
* Coordinate talent interviews, including drafting schedules, nominations, requests, junket/virtual interviews, and talent handling where appropriate.
* International festivals: manage and update festival bible, submit entries, liaise with festival contacts on logistics and assets.
* Asset coordination (stills, video clips, trailers, artwork) across titles, upload assets to platforms, and provide assets to local territories, agencies, and press.
* Coordinate screenings – booking rooms, collating RSVPs, covering screenings, gathering reactions as required.
* Manage international travel logistics for press events (junkets, set visits, premieres, etc.).
* Collation and reporting of coverage; update campaign reports and produce presentations; compose and distribute publicity updates and filmmaker reports.
* Administrative duties including raising POs, handling invoices, managing expenses, vendor management, database management, and issuing screening links.
* Meeting management – agendas, minutes, room bookings, scheduling liaison with filmmakers, talent reps, and other departments.
* Assist the team at events (some evenings or weekends) including screenings, set visits, film festivals Q&A’s & special events.
* Contribute to brainstorming meetings and develop campaign strategies and creative ideas.
* Research across film, TV and entertainment projects with specialist subjects; monitor industry news and trends and share findings internally.
