Field Service Engineer - Critical Power

The Role:
As a Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers have reliable power when they need it most. The area is Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and West Sussex:
* Servicing, maintaining, and repairing generators, UPS systems, batteries, switchgear, and control systems
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out testing and inspections
* Installing and commissioning critical power equipment
* Responding to breakdowns and delivering fast, effective solutions
* Conducting load bank testing, site surveys, and system investigations
* Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and apprentices
* Producing accurate service reports and documentation
* Identifying additional service or sales opportunities
You:
* Strong electrical/mechanical engineering background
* Experience with generators, UPS systems, or critical power equipment (preferred)
* Ability to work independently and manage on-site activities
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Willingness to travel, work on-call, and occasionally stay away overnight
* Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
