2026 is a significant year for the Scottish team. We know through data insight that >43,000 women across our region are unemployed, many of whom are eligible to access our services, but our current centre only allows us to see c1,000 women each year.
We have an established Centre in Edinburgh, and we would like to re-open our centre in Glasgow. Our centre expansion naturally brings increased running costs. We therefore need a robust and sustainable funding pipeline.
We are looking for several new Trustees to join our Smart Works Scotland Board of Trustees with experience of:
1. Chair
2. Treasurer
3. Marketing / Media
4. Service Delivery / Outreach
5. Grants & Trusts
6. Legal
The role is voluntary and candidates would be required to be able to spend a minimum of one day per week. Ideally the candidates would be based in / around Edinburgh.
