Job Role
As a Senior NetworkEngineer, you will be instrumental in supporting and maintaining our clients' ITNetwork. Your focus will be on firewall, routing, WI-FI, and security systems.You will use your extensive knowledge in LAN and WAN, IP address management,Firewalls and security access control systems provide innovative solutions.and ensure network stability and security.
Job Responsibilities
1. Actively supportingWAN, site LAN, routing, WI-FI, firewall and network security, IPAM,Network access control, and cloud telephony.
2. Collaborating withother teams to ensure IT systems and services meet evolving needs.
3. Participating inprojects and overseeing new service transitions.
4. UndertakingplexInstallations or configurations within the networking environment autonomously.
5. Working within a smallteam on the development and support of new services or configurations acrossservices.
6. Planning, installing,and testing voice and data network connections.
7. Producing high-qualitydocumentation for the maintenance of delivery systems.
8. Collaborating closelywith the local Estate Services and other departments regardinginfrastructure requirements for new builds and other cabling activities aroundthe site.
9. This role may requiretravel to other sites, as well as partner and supplier offices. Itsupports hybrid working of up to 2 days per week working from home.
Job Requirements
10. 5+ years of experienceIn Fortinet firewall management.
11. 5+ years of experiencein Extreme Cloud IQ WI-FI management system or equivalent and excellentknowledge of Network Access Control system (preferably Clearpass).
12. 5+ years of experiencein routers and WAN and LAN routing management using OSPF and BGP
