We have an exciting opportunity for a Tool Hire Assistant at our Stockport branch.

This is a part‑time role (30 hours) working Monday‑Friday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm, and every other Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm with flexible hours to accommodate your needs.
The role requires a full UK driving licence, as you will drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver and retrieve customer orders.
The Tool Hire Assistant works in the depot and plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Perform basic electrical and functionality testing, and service and clean returned hired products to ensure they are safe and presentable for the next customer.
* Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing advice and solutions for the best experience.
* Use in‑house systems to process orders, organise tool hire delivery and collection, and keep customers updated throughout their journey.
* Deliver and collect tools and plant, following company policies.
* Support branch colleagues in building knowledge and competence in tool hire products.
* Maintain tool hire standards at all times.
* Ensure inventory and availability levels meet customer needs, collaborating across the local network.
* Work according to Health & Safety requirements.
