Overview:
CTSworks closely with other areas within Wholesale Banking and thewider Bank ABC to provide excellent service to the Banks customerswhile ensuring the necessary internal consistency compliance andefficiency.The core aims of CTS areto:
* Work as one clientcentric team inclose collaboration with colleagues across BankABC.
* Provide excellent clientservice.
* Facilitate the work of the WholesaleBanking Coverage and Product Sales teams wherever appropriate bytaking ownership of day today client matters and as far as possibleinsulate relationship managers from nonsales/marketingactivities.
* Continuously improve processes withthe aim of enhancing the clientexperience.
* Enable Bank ABC to offer new andimproved products by ensuring proper monitoring and fulfilment ofall internal credit compliance and otherrequirements.
WhatYou Will Be Doing:

This role is responsible for deliveringservices direct to clients thereby supporting the work of the Headof Financial Institutions and GTDD as well as the Wholesale BankingCoverage and Product Sales teams. This must be done in a consistentand properly controlled manner working in close collaboration withother internal departments and in compliance with relevantprocedures.
As an Assistant Manager in theLending & Distribution vertical of CTS the focus is on BankABCs credit and lending products the trading of debt and therelated distribution of risk. As part of their core dailyresponsibilities the job holderwill:
* Directly deal with enquiriesfrom facilitate the transactions of and build relationships withBank ABCs customers (including insurance & investorbase).
* Help colleagues in the Wholesale BankingCoverage and Product Sales teams with providing direct support tocustomers.
* Manage priorities and deliverservices to Bank ABCs customersthrough:
o excellent collaboration withinCTS;
o ongoing coordination with the OperationsBusiness Financial Crime Financial Crime Operations CreditAdministration Legal Compliance Operational Support and otherdepartments as appropriate;
o preparing and/orreviewing relevant management information and monitoring servicelevels; and
o taking part in periodic ServiceQuality Meetings to resolve any serviceissues.
o Act as focal point for internal queriesto ensure smooth and efficientcollaboration.
* Structureand execute new facilities and transactions. This involves workingwith Coverage RMs / Product Sales where relevant driving compliancewith timelines and SLAs coordinating with customers and otherinternal and external parties and ensuring all credit complianceand other internal requirements are met. More particularly thiswork includes:
o Implementing confidentialityagreements working on term sheets supporting Coverage RMs / ProductSales with relevant aspects of credit applications and notingsignificant credit approval requirements to ensure due compliancein execution.
o Working on facility / frameworkagreements whether drafting standard agreements (using suitabletemplates) collaborating with lawyers on bespoke agreementsliaising with the customer and internal stakeholders in order tofinalize the agreement and obtaining relevant internal signoffs andcustomer agreement.
o Liaise with customers andrelevant RMs as necessary to regarding relevant insurance policies/ other risk mitigation details of relevant obligors facilitydetails and any changes thereto and ensure these are reviewed byand/or transmitted to the relevantdepartments.
o Working on oneoff transactiondocumentation including purchase contracts and MRPAs.
o Preparing notifications of new commitmentand/or TAPS tickets (or equivalents) obtaining internal signoffupdating Operations accordingly and taking any other practicalsteps required to get to first utilization of the relevantfacility.
o Preparing deal summaries / keyfeatures sheets and the like for the sake of goodorder.
* Coordinate withClients CDD specialists and Operational Support to ensure prompt onboarding & periodic review ofclients.
* Support GTDD in the maintenance andgrowth of its investor base and interconnected activitiesthereof
* Support GTDD in the execution ofdistribution activities including but not limited to intergroupasset transfers cash cover and thirdpartysales.
* Prepare relevant credit / administrativeapplications in the Credit Management System (CMS) from a businessperspective (that is not credit analysis). This will includeincreases lapses freezes unfreezes and thelike.
* Prepare FIrelated credit applications andreviews in CMS in liaison with the Global Trade &Distribution team.
* Perform checks submitinstructions and obtain approvals through Bank ABCs systems asrequired for delivery of services (TAPS tickets PDC checksRegulatory Risk approvals and Daily Commitments approvals asrelevant).
* Arrange for any other approvalsrequired for facilities / transactions / drawdowns as may berequired.
* Onboard customers onto our relevantdigital systems and provide initial training and ongoing support asrequired. Refer any technical issues to agreed supportfunctions.
* Receive escalations from Operationsregarding any issues and take necessary action to escalate furtherand/or resolve these matters in a timelymanner.
* Support relevant RMs with the trackingof credit conditions / covenants and escalate anyconcerns.
* Create and maintain other client /transactionrelated records to ensure consistent and efficientprocessing.
* Update and maintain standard andbespoke client rates/tariffs andinstructions.
* Keep an overview of the Bankscorrespondent banking population and highlight any changes /concerns to stakeholders as required.
* Insupport of the Head of FIs maintain an overview of the Banks SWIFTRMA connections.
* Review SWIFT RMA requestsfrom other FIs and liaise with Head of FIs to approve / decline.Assist with setting up new SWIFT RMA or making changes as may berequired
* Help Bank ABC grow its business byensuring that all applicable audit risk and compliance requirementsare met. This includes among other things:
o meeting the requirements of the UK FinancialServices Compensation Scheme (FSCS) and its French equivalent theFGDR;
o Supporting the Banks designatedComplaints Officer in the reporting and handling customercomplaints;
o reviewing anddiscounting/escalating any transactional red flags identified byother departments (or by the job holder / other colleagues inCTS);
o raising internal suspicious activityreports; and
o raising any operational riskevents and taking part in their investigation andresolution.
Inthe course of working with customers and relevant noncustomers dayto day the job holder may become aware of opportunities to providefurther services in which case they will raise those opportunitiesto front office colleagues in Wholesale Banking for furtherinvestigation.

Where customers anchored in theLending & Distribution vertical take up products fallingoutside that vertical the job holder will continue to support thosecustomers. This will ensure the customer maintains a single pointof contact and day to day support.
The jobholder will draw on expertise and support from colleagues in therelevant other CTS verticals to a greater or lesser extent as maybe required to ensure a consistent service and due compliance withall external and internal requirements. The job holder willsimilarly support colleagues in other CTSverticals.
As part of the work falling outsidethe Lending & Distribution vertical in which the job holdermay engage from time to time the job holder will among otherthings:
* Perform similar tasks to thosein the core role mentioned above but in relation to products withwhich the job holder may be less familiar. Close collaboration withcolleagues in other CTS verticals will berequired.
* Open customer accounts. Thisincludes:
o all external account openingformalities including the collation and checking of customerdocuments as required; and

The role holderwill develop their own skills through working with and across theCTS verticals and undergoing suitable training from time to time.They will also help other members of the CTS team to gain skill andexperience in relation to Lending &Distribution.
CandidateSpecification:
* Goodindepth understanding of wholesale banking products loans inparticular and the endtoend processes involved in delivering thoseproducts to the Banks clients.
* Goodunderstanding of transaction/ facilitystructuring
* Strong understanding of creditcompliance and operational requirements relating to lending anddistribution.
* Solid computer skills withcapability to use spreadsheets graphic and presentation packages toreview and create professional materials will be anadvantage.
* Five years banking experienceincluding in a similar role but additionally extending to otherareas of banking such as operations orcompliance.
* Good experience of loan structuringand execution is required.
* Experience ofbuilding and managing complex relationships with significantcustomers
* Customer serviceorientation.
* Strong oral and writtencommunication skills. Foreign language skills are anadvantage.
* Ability to maintain integrityconfidentiality and diplomacy under allcircumstances.
