What you'll do: As a Commodities (Metals) Trade Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in executing assigned FICC Trade Support activities for Commodity products. Your responsibilities include:
Booking, validating, and amending trades, reviewing trade discrepancies, and liaising with clients
Supporting the introduction of new products, technology, or processes
Identifying potential risk situations within FICC Trade Support activities
Ensuring adherence to regulatory and bank policies and procedures
Contributing to testing and updating contingency planning
Identifying opportunities to improve operational effectiveness
What you bring: The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of experience in the financial services industry
University Degree or College Diploma in a related discipline
Strong knowledge of Financial Products, including Commodities (Energy and Metals), Fixed Income, and Interest Rate Derivatives
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines independently or within a team
Understanding of risk and regulatory requirements
