Logistics Manager – Nottingham (Student Accommodation Project) Location: Nottingham Start Date: January 2026 We’re seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to start on a two-year student accommodation build in Nottingham. As the on-site Logistics Manager, you’ll play a key role in the smooth operation of this busy construction project, ensuring materials, people, and processes all move efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities * Manage and coordinate all site logistics operations, including hoist operators, crane staff, forklift drivers, and general labourers. * Oversee delivery scheduling, ensuring materials arrive on time and are distributed efficiently across site. * Implement and manage effective waste management and recycling procedures. * Ensure safe and compliant traffic and pedestrian management around site. * Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate resources and maintain programme. * Maintain site appearance, storage areas, and welfare facilities to a high standard. * Support HSEQ compliance, promoting a strong culture of safety and organisation. Requirements * Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or Site Logistics Supervisor on large construction projects. * Experience managing multiple site operatives and plant staff. * Strong organisational and communication skills. * Valid CSCS card, SMSTS/SSSTS, and First Aid certification preferred. * Competent understanding of delivery coordination and waste management processes.
