Quality Engineer
Contek are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join an established and growing company in Wolverhampton. This company have been in business for over decades and due to growth and an ever growing order book they are now looking for their next Quality Engineer to join their team.
Experience working within a Quality Engineer role in a manufacturing facility (Such as machining, fabricating or similar environments) is essential to be successful in this position along with a good understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001.
Essential:
1. Thorough understanding of Engineering Drawings
2. Ability to problem solve and make decisions where necessary.
3. Methodical, with meticulous attention to detail
4. Ability to interpret ISO standards for product tolerances/compliance
5. Use of Measuring Equipment is essential i.e. Micrometers, Verniers, Height Gauges, Shadow Graphs etc.
6. Ability to write Work Instructions for new products & changes to existing products.
7. Contribute to technical aspects of New Product Introduction meetings.
8. Knowledge and experience of working to ISO9001:2015.
9. Document Control of Engineering Drawings & Work Instructions.
10. Worked within a CNC/Fabrication environment...
