Bristol City Council’s Housing & Landlord Services is recruiting a Gas Plumbing Trade Supervisor to join the Responsive Repairs team. The team delivers high quality, cost‑effective responsive repairs across 28,000 council homes, supervising gas and plumbing operatives, surveyors and contractors, and leading all drainage works.
Responsibilities
• Supervise a team of gas and plumbing operatives, surveyors and contractors in council‑owned dwellings.
• Manage day‑to‑day staff development under the Responsive Repairs Trade Manager.
• Ensure high quality service, “right first time”, high customer satisfaction and adherence to budget.
Qualifications
• Relevant ACS Gas qualification, Plumbing NVQ Level 2 or 3, and extensive professional trade experience in plumbing & drainage.
• Full driving licence.
• Moderate level of fluency – ability to converse in accurate spoken English or through a BSL interpreter.
