Location: Manchester (Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office)
Salary: Up to £60,000
The Company
A leading commercial digital media brand is looking for a Data Analyst to join their international team. The business is known for creating innovative digital and audio content across 9 European markets, and this role will be key in helping shape how they understand and serve their audiences.
The Role
As a Data Analyst, you’ll work across digital, content, and commercial functions to deliver data-driven insights that support decision-making across advertising, audience behaviour, and product development. You’ll turn large, complex datasets into clear visualisations and strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Insights & Analytics
- Analyse content and advertising performance across digital, social, streaming, and programmatic platforms.
- Support growth in revenue, acquisition, and customer retention through insights and analysis.
- Explore and quantify relationships between audience behaviour, content engagement, and campaign performance.
Data Visualisation & Storytelling
- Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Automate reporting pipelines and support a self-serve analytics culture.
Problem-Solving & Strategic Support
- Translate business needs into data questions and actionable outputs.
- Contribute to A/B testing analysis, campaign targeting, and commercial strategy.
- Work with stakeholders across product, content, marketing, and commercial teams.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- 4+ years of experience in a data or analytics role.
- Strong SQL skills with experience handling large-scale datasets.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
- Strong understanding of KPIs, exploratory analysis, and business storytelling.
- Confident communicator and stakeholder manager.
Desirable:
- Experience in digital, audio, or media sectors.
- Familiarity with A/B testing or statistical methods.
- Exposure to Python or R for analytics or statistical testing.
- Understanding of CRM or marketing tools (Braze, HubSpot) or attribution modelling.
