Head of product management

Cambridge
Qureight Ltd
Product manager
Posted: 19 May
Offer description

Qureight’s mission is to accelerate clinical trials and ensure breakthroughs in lung and heart disease reach patients without delay. Our AI-powered data and imaging curation platform enables the analysis of clinical imaging and other healthcare data, helping our customers bring treatments to market, faster.

We’re looking for talented people who want their work to matter. With offices in Cambridge and London, you’ll join our multidisciplinary team of clinicians, scientists, and engineers. What unites us is our open culture, continuous learning mindset, and a shared mission to help biopharma run faster, smarter trials.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Product Management to join our team at Qureight. In this role, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our industry-leading products, ensuring we deliver exceptional value to our clinical trial customers while meeting rigorous regulatory and business requirements.

To succeed, you must have a proven track record in product leadership within regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, life sciences, or medical technology), a deep understanding of AI/ML-driven products, and the ability to align cross-functional teams—engineering, clinical operations, commercial, programme management, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs—around a cohesive product roadmap. Your expertise in translating complex technical capabilities into customer-centric solutions and your knack for identifying market opportunities will be critical.

At Qureight, we have developed a cloud-based platform that empowers pharmaceutical and biotech clients to curate, analyse, and derive insights from clinical trial data using advanced machine learning. In this role, you will:

* Define and execute the product strategy for our platform, balancing innovation with compliance (e.g., GCP and medical device regulations)
* Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and regulatory teams to ensure our products meet both customer needs and global regulatory standards.
* Champion a data-driven, customer-first approach, leveraging your experience in software or AI/ML-based healthcare solutions to drive impactful outcomes.

If you thrive at the intersection of technology, regulation, and customer impact, we’d love to hear from you.

What you will do...

* Own and execute Qureight's product strategy across software and AI.
* Define and drive the product roadmap for Qureight's Imaging Platform, deep-learning HRCT models and data science products. Have a clear vision for product architecture.
* Translate business goals into product features that delight, whilst incorporating workflow automations and AI to scale customer and revenue growth through technology rather than people.
* Maintain a deep understanding of user needs through user and customer research, market data, and experimentation.
* Be the go-to person for understanding competitors’ offerings and analysis, alongside market needs.
* Work with cross-functional development teams spanning software development, machine learning science and engineering, data engineering, test engineering, and DevOps/MLOps.
* Support and lead a high-performing and matrixed team that blends deep technical excellence with strategic product thinking.
* Ensure software and AI systems meet the necessary standards of security, reliability, explainability, and regulatory compliance.
* Serve as a cross-functional partner to Programme Management, Quality and Regulatory, Commercial, Marketing, Legal and Leadership teams to ensure all efforts are integrated and aligned

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

* 5-10 years of experience in a regulated technology environment with a strong foundation in SaaS and AI/ML product management and development.
* Suitable technical education to undergraduate level
* A user-centric approach.
* Proven experience in defining, managing, launching and scaling AI/ML products or platforms.
* Experience working within the clinical trial space is highly desirable, e.g., electronic data capture systems (EDCs), etc.
* Strong background in product leadership with clear examples of business impact.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strong understanding of software product development in a regulated environment, preferably within clinical trials (GxP) or software/AI medical devices. (ISO 13485, ISO 62304 etc). You must have a regulatory mindset.

Even better if:

* A solid understanding of AI/ML technology development, including deep learning, foundation models, and LLMs.
* Strategic thinking and business acumen, including experience defining KPIs, pricing models, and product adoption strategies.

Benefits

What can you expect from us

* A comprehensive benefits package that includes an annual bonus plan, private medical insurance, life insurance, and a contributory pension scheme
* 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and enhanced maternity leave
* A diverse work environment that brings together experts in many fields, including software engineering, devops, data science, machine learning, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and clinical operations
