Reference: 2dc0aadb Job Title : Personal Assistant to a young person who enjoys outdoor activities, £12.40 an hour in Leeds LS18 Reporting To : The young persons parents Location: LS18 Job Purpose: To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable/assist the person who needs support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests. About The Employer: The individual in need of support is a 15yr old neurodivergent male who is home educated. He enjoys mountain biking and gaming. Main duties: Social Duties – support to: o Learn to confidently travel using public transport o Learn to confidently purchase items in shops and cafes o Do outdoor hobbies including mountain biking o Increase independence and confidence o Make positive connections with other people o Work towards a goal set between the PA, young person and employer (to be set once a relationship has been developed with the young person) Type of person we are looking for: · Values – Friendly, trustworthy, reliable, punctual, open minded, curious, calm and enthusiastic What you can expect to receive: Up to 6hrs of work a week (hours will be less initially while building up the relationship). Payment on a monthly basis. Hours of work : To be mutually agreed. To be spread across one or two afternoons/early evenings on weekdays both during term time and school holidays.
