Here at The Mick George Group we are looking for Class 2 Sweeper Drivers to join our Ellington site.
Fantastic opportunity to join our existing team of Sweeper Drivers. Successful applicants must hold a Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph card & Drivers Qualification card.
Requirements:
* Be fully aware of the rules of the road and the regulations specified in the Highway Code & always abide by them & the Road Traffic Act 1988.
* Have sound knowledge of Road Transport Working Time Directive & Drivers Hours Regulations & abide by them.
* Complete & record comprehensive pre-use & end of shift defect checks.
* Continuously check the roadworthiness of your vehicle by way of walkaround checks throughout the course of each shift and report any defects found.
* Always ensure that a load is secure in line with the vehicle safe system of work, before leaving site. Never travel with an unsafe, insecure or overweight load.
* Adhere to site specific rules at all times, following rules signposted & given to you on respective site inductions.
* Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness - both interior & exterior.
* Contribute in your fullest capacity to the company delivering a best-in-class customer service to all our customers, including maintaining a good relationship with customers at all times.
* Undertake any other duties that are a reasonable request.
* Demonstrate a safe, economic & defensive driving style at all times.
* Demonstrate a high standard of geographical knowledge.

* On target earnings circa £40,000 per annum plus performance related bonuses.
