Production/Warehouse Operator (Dayshift) Wilson Salt Ltd is a long-established family business based in the Duncrue area of Belfast. We are one of the key salt processors in the UK and provide mainly to the animal feed, water and hides and skin industries as well as producing our own water softening tablets and SnowClear, our own brand of clean white deicing salt. We currently have a vacancy for a Production/Warehouse Operator on the following shift: Monday Thursday 07:00am 15:30pm Friday 08:00am 15:30pm (39 hour week) While overtime is not a regular requirement, it is important that all members of our team are willing to show flexibility during busy/holiday periods which may also include being asked to cover an alternative shift. The role is varied and includes both loading and unloading lorries (with forklift) and carrying our various production tasks. The successful applicant will initially undergo a training period of up to 8 weeks in order to become familiar with the different processes. The current rates are: During training £13.40per hour Upon completion of training £14.90per hour A service increment is award after 2 years and there is an opportunity to progress to Senior Operator after 4 years service.
