As a Senior Care Worker at CrossReach, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the people we care for and the colleagues you work alongside. You’ll lead by example, helping to create a warm, safe and respectful environment where everyone feels valued.
Main responsibilities
1. Lead and support the day care team to provide high-quality, person-centred care
2. Assist with personal care and day-to-day activities that promote dignity and independence
3. Administer medication safely and keep accurate records
4. Work closely with colleagues, families and other professionals to meet individual care needs
5. Support and mentor team members, promoting good communication and teamwork
6. Help maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere throughout the service
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
7. Holds an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
8. Is registered with the SSSC, or ready to apply
9. Has experience supporting vulnerable adults, ideally in an adult care home setting
10. Has strong leadership and organisational skills
11. Is patient, dependable and confident working as part of a team
12. Is flexible and able to work on a rota, including weekends and public holidays when required
