As one of the fastest growing and highest rated commercial energy suppliers in the UK, we are looking to recruit an experienced customer orientated Credit Controller, based at our state-of-the-art offices in Guiseley, Leeds.
The Credit Controller role is an excellent opportunity to get your teeth stuck into the energy industry as part of a team, you will be exposed to various aspects of our business and be a key part of our internal growth. Our credit controllers manage our accounts with excellence and provide first-rate customer service to our portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities
* Working within a team to assist with the collection of monies owed by debtors.
* Handling inbound and initiating outbound telephone calls and emails.
* Negotiating, implementing, and monitoring repayment solutions.
* Liaising with debt collection agencies and other third parties where required.
* Adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Updating our databases and systems in order to keep accurate record of activities.
* Starting legal proceedings if debts are not paid within an agreed timeframe.
* Working within the operational function of the business to satisfy the demands required, providing support other teams where required.
* When required assisting the Billing and Metering team with bill queries and additional invoicing support.

* Good telephone manner - can communicate effectively and professionally to all stakeholders.
* A logical thought process to resolve queries.
* Excellent organisational skills to manage personal workload, phone calls and queries.
* Ability to work on own, demonstrating drive and initiative.
* Team player, willing to share ideas and techniques with other team colleagues to improve the business.
* Knowledge of the energy sector is useful but not essential.
* The ability to be self-motivated and focused on continually achieving and exceeding targets.
