This role focuses on managing the Joint Venture (JV) with Norse for delivery of environmental services including waste collection, street cleansing, grounds maintenance and waste transfer operations. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee the performance and compliance of environmental services provided by the JV. * Manage associated risks across statutory, financial, and health & safety areas. * Investigate and resolve resident and member enquiries and complaints. * Provide reports and data for performance tracking and service improvement. * Line manage a Waste Services Officer. * Contribute to strategic reviews of waste and cleansing services in the region. Requirements: * Strong experience in contract management, ideally within a local authority setting. * Background in waste services and environmental operations. * Knowledge of statutory waste duties and waste management practices. * Ability to manage budgets, analyse service data, and prepare reports. * Experience managing staff and working collaboratively with contractors. * Driving licence and ability to travel locally
