HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers Preston/Lancashire
We are looking for skilled and dependable HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for multiple roles based in and around Preston. Positions are available on both day and night shifts, with flexible scheduling from Monday through Sunday, we also have multiple permanent roles available.
Requirements:
* Valid UK Driving Licence
* CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
* Previous experience driving Class 1 or Class 2 HGVs safely and efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
* Confidently operate Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles
* Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, including tyres, fluids, safety features, and control systems in line with company standards
* Report any maintenance or safety concerns using company documentation
* Adhere to assigned delivery routes and instructions, maintaining communication with dispatch as needed
* Follow all health and safety procedures without exception
