About Us:
Our client based in Cambridge is looking to recruit a dedicated Theatre Scrub Nurse to join their dynamic surgical team and play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to their patients.
Role Overview
As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, you will work alongside the skilled surgical teams, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating theatre, maintaining sterile techniques, and providing direct support during surgical procedures. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and maintain the sterile field for cardiac surgical procedures.
* Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during operations.
* Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
* Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure high standards of care.
* Participate in the ongoing training and development of junior staff.
Requirements
* NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Previous experience in a theatre environment, preferably in cardiac surgery.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
