To be a suitable candidate, it’s essential that you are a fully qualified accountant, have relevant finance experience, and possess a strong working knowledge of agency operations.
With a flexible hybrid working model, you’ll spend at least three days a week in their lively Zone 1 London office.
Key Responsibilities of the role
* Month-end reporting: Accruals, prepayments, deferred income, and management accounts preparation
* Reporting for parent company: Manage and deliver all required financial reporting
* Team management: Lead and develop one team member
* Revenue reconciliation: Compare actuals to forecast and update cost budgets
* Commercial reporting: Support development of client profitability, KPIs and revenue dashboards
* Budgeting and forecasting: Assist with reforecasting and annual budgeting
* Payroll management: Oversee payroll schedules and liaise with outsourced payroll provider
* Ledger Management: Oversee the management of the Accounts Payable and Receivable; including debtors/collections, and execute bi-monthly payments
Candidate Requirements
* Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) – essential
* Previous relevant finance experience ideally within a Media Agency or similar environment is essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive, logical, adaptable, and deadline-driven
* Team player who thrives in a small, collaborative environment
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Friendly, approachable, and self-motivated
