Technical Manager - Engineering Background

Cognisant are working with an established residential developer who are currently seeking an experienced Technical Manager to support multiple projects from site identification through to construction issue.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess greenfield and brownfield sites, identifying constraints, abnormals and viability risks.
* Commission and manage ground investigations and technical studies.
* Liaise with statutory authorities and manage planning applications and discharge of conditions.
* Oversee highways, drainage (S38/S104), SuDS and adoption processes.
* Manage civils and structural consultants through to construction-ready design.
* Review consultant fee proposals and drive value engineering at early design stage.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong experience in civils and structural design within residential development.
* Knowledge of contaminated land remediation, site investigations and technical reporting.
* Experience managing highways and drainage agreements through to adoption, including SAB processes.
* Proficient in AutoCAD and project planning software.
