GSL Education are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Sheffield, S9. As an SEMH TA, you will provide tailored support to students with SEN, assisting them in both academic and social development and helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant: Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis. Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions. Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence in students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure cohesive support. Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment. Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills. Patience, resilience, and adaptability in supporting children with diverse needs.
