A successful primary school in Nottingham is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their KS2 phase from January 2026. The Year 5 Teacher will plan ambitious curriculum sequences that develop pupils’ independence, reasoning and exam technique where appropriate. The successful Year 5 Teacher will lead targeted intervention groups, support cross-curricular projects and take responsibility for assessment cycles. Communicate effectively with parents and participate in reporting cycles. Person specification Qualified teacher with substantial KS2 experience and a strong record in Year 5. Secure curriculum knowledge, excellent classroom management and strong organisational skills. Reflective practitioner committed to pupil progress and professional development.
