Overview
We are seeking a skilled SEO Lead to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Petplan, the UK’s No. 1 pet insurer brand, and our other Allianz Pet brands, contributing to a high-performing trading team. We are looking for an experienced and passionate professional who is eager to make a significant impact through strategic SEO and compelling content.
Salary Information
Circa 45k. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
* Define, develop and lead on delivering a SEO strategy that maximises visibility and drives new business sales.
* Leverage our multi-brand approach to achieve top positions in organic search results for high-traffic pet-related keywords.
* Lead onsite conversion rate optimisation of our key landing pages to increase sessions to start quote performance.
* Manage SEO roadmap alongside our media agency across technical SEO, on-site optimisation, content creation requirements and link building.
* Collaborate with Analytics and Insight Team to monitor SEO performance and understand the impact of search ranking changes.
* Own evolving AI strategy, monitoring AI visibility, consumer search behaviour and impact on website sessions.
* Lead regular content and SEO audits to identify strengths and weaknesses and improve performance and impact on rankings.
* Work cross-functionally to devise content ideas across formats (web pages, blog articles, videos, infographics) and coordinate with content and creative agencies to deliver.
* Delivery of technical SEO and digital outreach activities.
* Ensure alignment and consistency in tone of voice and writing style.
* Collaborate with other stakeholders who indirectly influence SEO.
Essential Skills
* Experience of on-page SEO with content creation and optimisation using testing tools (e.g., Adobe Target).
* Experience working with external agencies.
* Excellence in written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
* Working knowledge of Google and Adobe Analytics.
* Knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush and Google Search Console.
* Strong experience with content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager).
* Passionate about content marketing and highly organised with meticulous planning skills.
* Autonomy and accountability in managing projects; able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
* Familiarity with GenAI or AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT).
