Responsibilities
* Ultrasound Examinations: Conduct scans for reproductive health and fetal monitoring.
* Medical History: Review patient histories for accurate ultrasound interpretation.
* Imaging Results: Analyze images for obstetric/gynecological issues.
* Patient Care: Ensure comfort, safety, and confidentiality during exams.
* Healthcare Collaboration: Coordinate care with medical professionals.
* Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound devices.
* Documentation: Record findings and report to healthcare providers.
* Continuing Education: Keep up-to-date with ultrasound technology.
* Patient Education: Inform patients about ultrasound and prenatal care.
* Quality Assurance: Follow protocols to ensure reliable imaging results.
Requirements
* CASE accreditation is preferred.
* Experience with FASP anomaly scans is advantageous.
* A Nuchal License is desirable but not essential.
* Must have 1 year UK experience with NHS.
