Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly & Integration
Join a leading defence and aerospace manufacturer as a Manufacturing Engineer supporting unit and missile assembly. You'll be instrumental in ensuring efficient, cost-effective production across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and update manufacturing instructions and route cards
* Design, commission, and validate tooling
* Support industrial validation (FMEA, FAI)
* Resolve technical issues during production
* Manage configuration control and design modifications
* Support non-conformance processes using SAP
Essential Skills & Experience
* Apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21 + ONC) or HNC/HND/BEng in Engineering
* 5+ years in a manufacturing engineering role
* Experience in electronic sub-assembly and electro-mechanical systems
* Ability to interpret design drawings and produce build instructions
* Strong communication and team collaboration skills
* Proficient in SAP and familiar with configuration control and validation processes
