Overview
The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for building electro-mechanical assemblies according to technical drawings, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Customer Manufacturing Manuals (CMMs). This role involves inspecting, testing, upgrading and repairing electro-mechanical assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements. The individual will also maintain the equipment used in electronic assembly processes.
Responsibilities
* Assemble small electro-mechanical components according to drawings, SOPs and CMMs.
* Utilize basic hand tools and measuring equipment, including torque drivers, micrometers, and verniers.
* Perform assembly tasks such as drilling, tapping, reaming, countersinking, filing, lapping, buffing, and lubrication.
* Connect cables and wires according to technical specifications.
* Conduct tests and inspections to troubleshoot and resolve any product issues.
Professional Knowledge & Experience
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CMMs, and SOPs.
* Experience assembling fans, motors, heaters.
* Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
* Desirable experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
* Familiarity with mechanical and electrical components.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Knowledge of small assembly tools and equipment.
* Fine soldering skills for small components.
Additional Requirements
* Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for BPSS Clearance.
* Must be able to provide 3 years of employment history.
