WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING | KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Senior HR Business Partner – HR Shared Services will be accountable for leading the delivery of all employee lifecycle activity, maintaining and improving associated processes, policies and systems.
People and Resources
* Lead the HR Shared Services team to deliver a comprehensive and efficient HR employee lifecycle experience to colleagues, managers and key stakeholders.
* Develop the team to think innovatively and creatively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Ensure processes and systems are effectively maintained and meet legislative requirements.
* Identify HR administration process efficiencies and work cross‑functionally to deliver them.
* Partner with Talent Acquisition and Payroll to oversee recruitment, onboarding, and payroll activity.
HR Data Management
* Maintain accurate HR data management systems and practices.
* Deliver a suite of HR MI reports (headcount, absence, attrition, DE&I metrics, etc.) to leadership.
* Oversee FTE, headcount and organisational chart reporting to Group.
* Review and improve data handling and secure processing practices.
HR Policy
* Maintain and communicate all HR policies across UK and Ireland.
* Provide guidance on employment legislation and support remedial action.
* Stay networked with HR trends, issues and best practice, applying them to CMA‑CGM’s ways of working.
* Oversee visa and immigration activity to ensure legal compliance.
Compensation & Benefits
* Build relationships with third‑party benefit providers and brokers.
* Renew policies and schemes cost‑effectively and timely.
* Coordinate pension activity, governance and UK compliance.
* Work with Head Office Compensation & Benefits to align group‑wide benefits.
* Oversee the administration of annual salary and bonus process.
* Manage payroll bureau relationship.
Other HR operational duties
* Coordinate seasonal projects such as engagement surveys, focus groups, performance appraisal process, and L&D partnerships (internships, apprenticeships, strategy roll‑out).
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? | KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Skills and Experience
* Demonstrable experience in an HR Shared Services environment; team management and leadership experience beneficial.
* Excellent analytical skills and comprehensive people‑data management and analysis.
* Project management experience.
* Integrity, confidentiality, resilience, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
* Excellent time‑management, prioritising and communication skills; ability to influence at all levels.
Practical & Technical Knowledge
* Excellent computer literacy (especially MS Excel), innovative and creative approach, solutions focused.
* Experience using AI in an HR environment for continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of employment law legislation and strong systems knowledge (Workday and/or Success Factors).
Qualifications
* CIPD Level 7 or equivalent (advantageous).
* HR / Law related degree (advantageous).
* Payroll experience (advantageous).
