This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, mature service to provide both medical and psychological treatment for individuals and families with severe mental health needs. There will also be opportunities for the post holder to lead on service development with the Consultant and senior leadership team. The candidate can take up a special interest and/or take an active role in teaching.
The post is within a multidisciplinary team providing a community service and has close links with local authority, education and the wider borough structure. The post holder will be joining a skilled, motivated, and innovative multidisciplinary team committed to continual learning and development and will be offered excellent CPD opportunities., The post-holder will be responsible to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Clinical Director of SW London St George's Mental Health Trust.
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Specialist Grade Psychiatrist to join our CAMHS team in Sutton, a leafy suburb of South West London. The postholder will work with a senior CAMHS Consultant and other experienced Mental Health Clinicians within the Service.
This is a full time, 10PA substantive post. However, part time working can be negotiated. This is a new post due to configuration of services.
To be eligible for this post, candidates must have a minimum of 12 years clinical experience, including 6 years in Psychiatry., If you are a dynamic and established Specialist Psychiatrist, fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice as well as holding S12 approval under the Mental Health Act or you are a Specialty Doctor within six - nine months of being eligible for this grade, we would be delighted to hear from you.
To be eligible for this Specialist Grade role, it is a requirement that you have a minimum 12 years clinical experience 6 of which must be in Psychiatry.
