We are looking for a volunteer with experience in Fundraising Research and Bid writing.

You could be changing the lives and the food security of subsistence farmers in Cameroon, and small farmers and indigenous groups in Ecuador. Your work could transform RFS from a tiny charity struggling to make ends meet, to a thriving body able to lead the way in promoting agroforestry in the tropics. You could greatly improve our knowledge of funding sources and capacity to submit applications efficiently
What are we looking for?
We are looking for trustees with experience in financial management and accountancy AND also trustees with experience in fundraising for small environmental charites
What will you be doing?
Help us grow by finding and securing grants to develop our agroforestry projects in Cameroon and Ecuador, using Inga trees to restore fertility, alleviate poverty, save rainforests, and capture carbon. Our ideal candidate has plenty of experience of writing grant applications, and a good knowledge of funders of environmental charities. You will be very keen to join us in our mission to save rainforests and change the lives of very poor farmers, and savvy in searching out new opportunities for funding. We are a small team of volunteer trustees in the UK supporting brilliant local partners in Cameroon and Ecuador,. We are based in Edinburgh, Oxford, London, Sussex and Helsinki. We cannot offer an office, but would love to meet in person from time to time.
