We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Quality Control Engineer within our Quality Team.
In a nutshell, you will be responsible for:
Focusing on managing and ensuring suitability and compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standard, managing the control of process input variables, driving product quality and the overall quality control efforts within our global group.
What you are already great at:
* Analyse customer complaints and internal rejects. Perform robust Root analysis and manage deployment of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
* Tracking and reporting quality concerns identified.
* Monitor and inspect production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
* Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the production process.
* Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Develop and maintain quality documentation, including test plans and protocol.
* Monitor inventory of materials and supplies to ensure quality.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain quality processes and procedures.
* Collect and analyse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality control and process improvement.
* Support the development and maintenance of lean and six sigma methodologies within the manufacturing plant.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and coordinate internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS.
For this role we would need you to demonstrate:
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and experience working in an ISO compliant environment.
* Previous experience conducting internal audits and managing compliance systems.
* Strong knowledge and experience of root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D.
* Ability to install and manage systems to ensure process input variables are in specification.
* Knowledge of quality control methodologies such as lean and six sigma is an advantage.
* Proficiency in using computer software to generate reports, presentations, and data analysis (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, ERP systems-EFACS).
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with quality engineers and cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Qualified internal auditor or lead auditor certification is a plus.
