As we continue to grow, we are now strengthening our Port Operations team with a Senior Port Operations Manager to lead the Port Operations function, working closely across all key areas to ensure a successful operational and commercial delivery of our ports programme. This role will take direct accountability for the execution of our ports services and will also work closely with Planning teams on setup and to provide a continuous feedback loop.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Define and communicate the vision and strategy for the Cruise Operating System aligned with company goals.
2. Develop and maintain a product roadmap with key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
3. Monitor industry trends and competitors to inform strategy and identify innovation opportunities.
4. Gather and document stakeholder requirements and user stories.
5. Build strong stakeholder relationships to manage expectations and resolve conflicting priorities.
6. Prioritise the product backlog based on business value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
7. Ensure requirements are clearly communicated and understood by the development team.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and business analysts.
9. Facilitate meetings and workshops to support collaboration, resolve challenges, and maintain alignment.
10. Communicate product progress, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders.
11. Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
12. Ensure features are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
13. Conduct reviews and retrospectives to improve processes and apply best practices.
14. Promote a user-centric approach to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
15. Gather and analyse user feedback to identify improvements and new feature opportunities.
16. Implement enhancements based on feedback and testing results.
17. Undertake additional duties as reasonably required, demonstrating professionalism, cooperation, and flexibility.
18. Adapt responsibilities as needed due to legislation, technology, or policy changes (with training provided).
19. Maintain familiarity with the company’s Safety and Quality Management Systems.
20. Participate in the company’s Emergency Response Plan.
This is a Full-Time, permanent position working 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
