Technical Manager (Building)
The role involves planning, directing and managing the maintenance team workload through a computerised system to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and service level agreements.
This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a team of Maintenance Engineers and Operatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in building maintenance and repair work, including fire and locking compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and directing Engineers and Operatives to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
* Managing local and national contracts.
* Providing support, advice and direction to others in carrying out installation works or complex repairs.
* Evidence of excellent organisational skills, prioritisation and forward planning.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation including Health & Safety, Safe Systems of Work.
* Able to provide practical and creative solutions to technical issues.

Requirements:
* HNC in an engineering subject or equivalent qualification.
* Experience of providing technical support and guidance to others.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
