Are you an experienced leader in residential adult social care? We are looking for a Registered Manager to lead a service that cares for vulnerable adults in a residential setting.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop a dedicated care team, ensure outstanding care delivery for the people we care for.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working as an integral member of the Senior Management Team, the Residential Care Home Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of high-quality care services to service users within the care home.
* This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, manages staff, and maintains excellent service standards that promote the health, safety, and well-being of residents and staff.
* The Manager is also tasked with building relationships with residents and their families, overseeing care plans ensuring that they are person centred, and maintaining the smooth operation of day-to-day activities of the business.
* To manage and prepare all staff rota's
* To undertake all staff supervisions and appraisals in accordance with the requisite of RISCA ((Wales) 2016, SCW and CIW
* To carry out assessment visits for new residents wishing to move into the Home. To write assessment reports on residents needs resulting from visits. To match the home resources to resident's needs.
* To be involved and adjudicate in staff disciplinary and grievance procedures.
* To liaise with the CIW and comply where appropriate with such requirements.
About You:
* QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role within adult social care, ideally in a residential setting
* Proven ability to manage teams and improve care quality
* Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills
* Committed to safeguarding and delivering high standards of care
