We offer a good variety of outdoor farm work, including pear, apple and apricot harvest, as well as general farm husbandry such as thinning and weeding. The work is physically demanding and the hours can be long, so you need a good level of physical fitness and to be ready for hard work. Some indoor work is also available at the packhouse and a few workers could be offered roles as tractor drivers. Because we're a mixed farm there is a good variety of jobs to be done, which helps to keep the work interesting and rewarding. The farm usually works 5 or 6 days a week, approximately 7-8 hours per day, depending on crop, weather and customer demand. Work typically starts at 7.30am, sometimes earlier in hot weather.
