Are you a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual looking to make a real difference in a child’s life? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Swansea this September.
The Role
You will be working 1:1 with a lovely Year 5 pupil who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Your support will play a key role in helping him thrive both academically and emotionally.
✏️ Key Responsibilities
* Provide individualised support with reading and writing
* Help create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement ⭐
✅ What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children (school-based experience is a bonus)
* Understanding of ASD or willingness to learn
* Patient, empathetic, and reliable personality
* Strong communication skills
