IPEX Technologies is offering an exciting opportunity for an aspiring IT professional to kickstart their career through a structured and hands-on IT Apprenticeship. As an IT Apprentice, the successful candidate will become a valued member of a dynamic and knowledgeable team, gaining real-world experience in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure. From supporting hybrid environments to assisting with advanced technology rollouts, this apprenticeship provides the foundation for a long-term, rewarding career in tech.
In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
* Installing and configuring antivirus software, performing password resets, and assisting with multi-factor authentication setup.
* Use existing internal documentation including technical guides and loom videos.
* Respond to support tickets, emails, and phone queries. More complex issues will be escalated to senior staff as needed.
* Provide support both colleagues and customers via Freshdesk ticketing system, email communication and phone support.
* Install, upgrade and configure a range of software including antivirus, Microsoft Office 365 and client specific tools.
* Set up and configure devices on local networks, including laptops and desktops, network routers and ethernet infrastructure.
* Gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, primarily through the use of Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, Outlook and Microsoft Admin Centre
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
* £15,000 per annum.
* Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
* 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
* Good initiative.
* A willingness to learn.
* Genuine interest in IT.
* Experience working within customer service would be beneficial.
* Grade 5 in GCSE English and Grade 4 in GCSE Maths.
