Radiology Department Assistant at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
We are looking for a Radiology Department Assistant to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The post holder will be required to work 15 hours per week across two days within the Breast Imaging Suite at St Albans City Hospital. The service runs Monday to Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Welcoming all patients and service users to the department.
* Completing administrative processes and supporting patient flow through the department.
* Booking patients in for their examinations and directing patients to the relevant waiting areas.
* Answering telephone queries.
* Preparing examination rooms and equipment.
* Assisting the Radiologists, Radiographers and Radiology Nurses during procedures.
