Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker within the Intermediate Care & Urgent Community Response Team to work full time based in Bury, Greater Manchester.
Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Main Duties
* Service Provision: Deliver professional social work services to adult clients within Adult Operations and/or Mental Health Services as needed.
* Empowerment: Support clients in maintaining autonomy and informed decision-making about their lives.
* Case Management: Manage a complex caseload with advanced social work practices; assess and manage significant risks to ensure client safety.
* Meeting Leadership: Chair meetings (e.g., Best Interests and Discharge Planning); contribute at case conferences and produce high-quality assessments and reports.
* Mentorship: Mentor newly qualified social workers and provide guidance to junior staff with managerial oversight.
* Safeguarding Commitment: Uphold safeguarding duties for children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
* Competency Demonstration: Demonstrate proficiency in the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) and Knowledge and Skills Statements (KSS) competencies relevant to this social work role.
Requirements
* A Social Work Qualification or equivalent
* Understanding of relevant legislation
* Social Work England registered
