Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently recruiting Bin Lorry Drivers to support a busy waste management service in East Lothian. This is a fantastic chance for drivers seeking reliable weekday work, early starts, and a strong team environment.
📍 Location: East Lothian
💰 Pay Rates:
1. £14.00 per hour (PAYE) + holiday pay accrued
2. £15.69 per hour (PAYE Advanced – holiday pay included)
🔧 Your Role Will Involve:
3. Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) Refuse Collection Vehicle
4. Working alongside a crew to collect household waste and recycling
5. Following scheduled routes through local communities
6. Ensuring all health, safety, and council procedures are followed
✅ Requirements:
7. Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
8. Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
9. A positive, team-focused attitude
10. Previous bin lorry or refuse experience is helpful, but not essential
