Shift Pattern: 8:00-20:00
About the Role
We have a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their own home in Norwich. This person has learning disabilities, communication difficulties, autism, bipolar disorder, and challenging behaviour, but these do not define them. They have a wide range of hobbies such as puzzles, colouring, darts, and wrestling. To make the most of trips out and about, a full UK Driving Licence is required.
Supporting the Person
Enriching activities are a key part of your support, and you will bring an empathetic approach to make a real difference. Previous experience in the following areas is essential:
* Learning Disabilities
* Autism
* Challenging behaviours
* Mental health
What Will Your Shift Involve?
Your time will be divided between providing high-quality, compassionate care tailored to the individual's needs and supervising a team of support workers. Responsibilities include creating staff rotas and maintaining care plans, alongside engaging in meaningful activities and community outings to promote social interaction and well-being. Household tasks to ensure a clean and comfortable living environment are also part of your role. Clear communication in their preferred manner is vital to build trust.

This role is within our LD&A division, supported by an experienced Team Leader.
