Job type: Permanent Location: Wrightbus Closing date: Wednesday 01 Jul 2026 08:00 As the Service Campaign Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful rollout of proactive rework initiatives (referred to as 'campaigns'), for vehicles in the field. Responsibilities Develop and execute detailed plans for vehicle retrofit campaigns. Create detailed campaign assessment documents to support senior management decision-making. Evaluate campaign necessity, considering safety risks, customer demand, cost, and other decision-making criteria. Calculate estimated costs for each campaign, including parts, labour, and associated expenses. Estimate campaign completion timelines, accounting for vehicle availability, labour capacity, and rework duration. Manage the campaign team, contractors, suppliers & related stakeholders to ensure field campaign work is carried out in the most cost and time efficient manner. Review technical engineering work instructions to assess real-world feasibility for rework activities. Effectively plan & complete vehicle recalls/retrofits, in accordance with TSB instructions. Effectively plan work teams to maximise efficiency. Communicate with Regional Service Managers, Mobile Service Engineers, and Contractors, to track vehicle completion. Liaise with third party contractors and service providers to ensure seamless implementation. Load & control sales orders for campaign material. Manage Campaign stock control on Sage i.e. Sales Orders, production receipts, issues & stock transfers Investigate & solve campaign material delivery discrepancies. Develop and maintain close working relationships with customers, depots, engineering teams, field service engineers, and contractors. Clearly communicate campaign rework details and implementation plans with customers. Ensure change detail is relayed to all relevant customers, for Customer vehicle change traceability. Verify sub-contractor invoices. Ensure campaigns are delivered within the allocated budget. Monitor adherence to estimated timing plans, adjusting resources as needed. Track the progress of all active campaigns and drive them to closure. Ensure campaign progress is reported to internal and external parties in a prompt and effective manner. Present weekly updates on campaign status to the senior management team. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths at Grade C or above Minimum of 3 years' experience in a project or service management role within a manufacturing, engineering or automotive environment. At least 2 years' experience managing a team or leading cross-functional project teams. Strong understanding of technical engineering documents and the ability to translate into practical implementation. Excellent organisational, planning and task management skills. Financial awareness, including budgeting and cost estimation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
